Ritual Performer Spotlight: HazelGrace Yates

Ritual Performer Spotlight: Stephanie Noll

Stephane Noll is a writer and teacher living in Austin. Her work has appeared in Modern Loss, Motherwell, and is forthcoming in the Ocotillo Review. She’s told stories at Listen to Your Mother, Story Department, Backyard Story Night, the Tellers, and Story Bar. Stephanie is the founder of Old Books for New Teachers, an organization that helps new teachers build classroom libraries.

Stephanie returns to the Testify stage tomorrow night to tell of finding connection through the rituals of the gridiron in her piece A Way Back Home.


Ritual Performer Spotlight: Paul Normandin

Paul Normandin is a large man with a big mouth who loves to tell stories to anyone who can’t outrun him. Paul learned to tell stories from the loving feedback of youth while teaching Sunday school for 13 years. At 56, Paul is a big, bald bard, a merry member of the Austin Playback Theatre troupe, and the furry founder of the Improv troupe In Our Prime.

Tomorrow night, Paul will tell a tale of finding communion after a volleyball game in his piece Looking In.
