Trust Me Performer Spotlight: Mike O’Connor

Mike O’Connor is a public policy student at the LBJ School at UT. A former US historian with a doctorate., he’s taught at many colleges and universities and written a book about American political and intellectual history. He sporadically blogs at his site called eight hundred words. Perhaps most importantly, he comes from a long line of storytellers.

This Thursday, Mike will share his story of trust on the road in his piece Duct Tape.

Trust Me Performer Spotlight: Kat Messina

Kat’s mom was in a car accident while she was pregnant with her, which explains a lot. She can’t keep a plant alive, but is happily married, has one wild child, and two fur babies. Some of her favorite hobbies include cooking, crafting, and D&D. She’s also allergic to pineapple.

Kat will tell her tale of taking a chance on the Q train in her story Next Stop Love.
