Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes Performer Spotlight: Mark Gifford

Mark Gifford has been teaching composition and rhetoric at The University of Texas at San Antonio for over ten years. He is the creator and author of the Hyperliterature blog and the Hyperliterature Presents podcast (iTunes & Google Play). Mark is also the co-creator, co-author, and performer of the audio series When Wade Tries to Save the World (iTunes Amazon Audible) and The Adventures of Heroman (iTunes Amazon Audible), and he produces, directs, and edits JR Helton’s narrative podcast Man and Beast: A Love Story. Mark co-wrote the script for the short film “Bout Normal / Nothin’ Special” which won the Platinum Remi Award for Work in Progress at the Houston WorldFest Film Festival. When Mark isn’t writing, grading essays, updating syllabi, or answering emails, he tries, with varying degrees of success, to sleep.

Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes Performer Spotlight: Sundaram Ader

Sundaram is a writer, director, actor, advocate for mental health issues, and a part time story teller. He debuted a play he wrote, directed and starred in last year called The Spark. He is currently directing his first feature length documentary, Finding the Spark; The Journey of Seeing Past Mental Illness.

This Thursday, Sundaram takes us full circle through the changes that occurred to his personality and path that led to a life altering diagnosis.

Robin Cravey is the chief of and a small-town lawyer in a big city.  He loves camping in state parks, hiking the lake and creek trails, zipping through Austin streets in his Miata with the top down, swimming in Barton Springs, working on his MacBook, drinking pints with friends at the beer joint, sliding pen over paper, and reading from real books.  Look for his book Benchmarks.
